Miller Construction achieved green rating at Hagley Haybridge High School in Worcestershire.

The scheme has been logistically challenging as complicated phasing of enabling works and construction operations around the school curriculum required great attention in order to ensure the school was able to operate without any disruption to the pupils or staff.

Key points:

• The buildings were designed and built to an achieve an Excellent BREEAM rating
• Phase one included 18 classrooms which were fully occupied by the school for the start of the Autumn term
• Phase two was completed in time for the start of the Winter term in January 2007
• Phase three included the final demolitions, service diversions and external works for the end of March 2007.
