Atkins opens third Saudi office

Engineering giant Atkins has opened a third office in Saudi Arabia, complementing those in Riyadh and Jeddah.

The office in Al Kohbar will serve Saudi Arabia’s eastern province.

Atkins is already delivering projects in the Eastern Province, including Dammam 3 Industrial City and Ras Al-Khair Industrial City.

Richard Barrett, Atkins’ regional chief executive for the Middle East, said: “We firmly believe in the importance of being local. Only by having people based in our core territories can we truly understand our market and the needs of our clients.
