Intrepid fox climbs 72 floors up Europe’s tallest building

A fantastic fox has been found living off scraps from builders’ sandwiches on the 72nd floor of Europe’s tallest building.

The intrepid visitor, nicknamed Romeo, entered the building through a central stairwell before climbing to the top.

Pest controllers from Southwark Council eventually caught the fox after two weeks and took it to an animal sanctuary. It has since been released near London Bridge.

It is thought to be the highest distance ever recorded to have been made by a fox.
