Calling all those who worked on the Olympics - Building is on the hunt for five people whose outstanding contribution helped make the Games a success

The construction of the London Olympics 2012 has, so far, been testament what the UK construction industry can do. The biggest British project in recent history has been delivered on time, on budget and has given the industry a much needed boost in otherwise tough times.

None of this would have been possible without the hard work of individuals - from the apprentices cutting their teeth to the highly skilled technical staff ensuring that every cog in this colossal wheel runs smoothly.

With just under six months to go till the Games themselves, we want to celebrate the individuals who have put their heart, soul, grit, determination and expertise into making London 2012 a success.

In association with the Olympic Delivery Authority, we are calling for nominations to find five Building 2012 Heroes to recognise such a great achievement on this project across the board. However great or small the role, if you know someone who excelled on this scheme and who is worthy of an award, or if you would like to put yourself forward, we are waiting to hear from you.

To nominate someone, fill in the form here

The deadline for nominations is Friday 27 April. So get nominating, and good luck!
