Velodromes are normally housed in boxy sheds but the 2012 velodrome is a natural wonder thanks to BDSP’s innovative services solution

Klaus Boder of services engineer BDSP explains how Hopkins’ design for the Olympic Velodrome forced his team to come up with a truly innovative services strategy that brings natural light and ventilation into the heart of the arena.

Our video is in three parts. First Klaus gives an overview of how the building works within the track bowl and next week we get down to the technical nitty gritty when we join Klaus in the plant room and reach for the sky.
