Firm says it expects total revenues of £1.8bn for 2011

Interserve has won contracts totalling £400m in the last four months according to an interim management statement released this morning. Trading for the period overall was in line with expectations.

The statement also outlined healthy visible revenue totals for the company - with £1.8bn of work procured for 2011 and another £1bn for 2012.

Notable contract wins secured by the support services firm include a £130m joint venture on a work programme for the Department for Work and Pensions and a two year extension to their South East Regional Prime Contract for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

Commenting on the contents of the management statement, chief executive Adrian Ringrose said: “We’ve had a good start to the year and reiterate our expectation of stable trading in 2011.

“We continue to believe that we have the capability to double earnings per share over five years, given our proven strategy, our attractive global mix of end markets in outsourcing and infrastructure and our strong financial position.”
