New division is a merger of their lighting and multi-site facilities management operations
Mitie has launched a new property maintenance division called National Mobile Services, merging both its lighting and multi-site FM operations in the process.
The unified business will comprise over 700 staff and will deliver mobile technical FM services nationwide.
The business is set to be one of the largest mobile property maintenance divisions in the UK with Mitie’s central customer service centre controlling its operations.
Kerry Sheehan has been appointed director of the new unit having previously undertaken senior management roles in Mitie’s south west and lighting divisions.
Sheehan said: “As a result of these changes our clients will benefit from faster reaction times, enhanced service levels and better value for money.”
“Our service delivery will be totally focused on the end user with Mitie engineers regarded as an integral part of the client’s local team as they maintain, own and deliver essential technical services.”
