Contractor to design and build Inverness Campus

Contractor Morgan Sindall has been awarded a £12.3m contract to build an academic and business park in Inverness for Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

Morgan Sindall will design and build the 100-acre first phase of the HIE’s Inverness Campus project.

The development, which will be built over the next 18 months, is designed to provide an outstanding environment for students at Inverness College UHI and attract other users, including the Scottish Agricultural College.

Morgan Sindall said it will aim to use local subcontractors and the development will create 250 construction jobs.
