KPF building will be 50-storeys high

Multiplex has been confirmed as the winner of a £240m contract to build Aykon London One, a luxury residential block at Nine Elms being part-developed by Italian fashion house Versace.

Designed by US architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, the 50-storey tower will be branded under the Versace name and will feature studios, one, two and three bedroom flats, with 450 new homes in total.

Nine Elms Property, which is also developing the building, said the tower would feature four floors of office space, as well as a range of residential amenities including a gym, communal gardens and an indoor swimming pool.

Hussain Sajwani, chairman of Damac International, the Dubai-based luxury housing firm which owns Nine Elms Property, said Aykon London One was the firm’s premiere international development outside of the Middle East and a “landmark project” for the UK capital.

“We are delighted to appoint Multiplex as the main contractor to build this iconic residential project, which will be the first-of-its-kind in London,” he added.
