Four year contract will see firm continue to deliver services under 20 specialist and strategic lots

Atkins has been re-appointed to Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM’s) multi-disciplinary consultancy framework.

The four-year framework contract, which runs until 2020, will see Atkins continue to deliver services under 20 specialist and strategic lots. These include transport systems, strategy, engineering, asset management, and consultancy packages.

The services will support TfGM and its 2040 Transport Strategy, to improve the region’s transport infrastructure and multi-modal connectivity.

Atkins was one of 40 firms appointed to TfGM’s £80m professional services framework last September.

Jason Pavey, Atkins’ local transport market director, said: “TfGM continues to take on greater responsibilities through the devolution process.

“Atkins takes pride in supporting TfGM to achieve their aspirations to provide residents with the leading multi modal connections needed for the Manchester city region to thrive and flourish.”
