Two Liverpool office contracts worth £5.5m in total up for grabs
Capital & Centric is seeking a main contractor for £5.5m of work at their Liverpool offices, with an expected start before Christmas 2013.
The two projects, one at the Littlewoods complex on Edge Lane and one at 12 Tithebarn Street, both have European Regional Development Fund support in place.
Work in Edge Lane involves retaining the existing building while inserting a new building block into the existing fabric and landscaping the area.
The £4m Edge Lane conversion is aimed at making the building suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises and occupies 17,500 sq ft.
Work in Tithebarn Street includes recladding some elements, a new reception space and office area.
Planning was granted in October to strip back the 40,000sq ft building under a £6m refurbishment.
