Developer Hammerson has been granted planning permission for a 20,600 m2 office building at 60 Threadneedle Street, London EC2.

The design, by Eric Parry Architects, includes 18,900 m2 of office accommodation, 830 m2 of retail space and 870 m2 of storage, arranged over lower ground, ground and eight upper floors. The scheme occupies a prominent site at the junction of Old Broad Street and Threadneedle Street in the City of London. The scheme is on the freehold site of the former London Stock Exchange buildings, acquired by Hammerson in 2004.
