New office forms first phase of Patrizia’s new Tony WIlson Square scheme in city centre

Fletcher Priest Architects has won planning from Manchester City Council for a 240,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme in the city’s creative and university quarter.

The scheme at 6 First Street forms the first phase of client Patrizia’s one million sq ft Tony Wilson Square scheme, situated close to the Mecanoo-designed Home Theatre and Ian Simpson’s Innside Hotel.

The 6 First Street element includes flexible workspace built above street level retail and cafes. The overall Tony Wilson Square scheme includes office space and 500 apartments for the build-to-let market.
