Four firms have made the cut for the latest two batches of capital-funded priority schools to come to market

Building can reveal that Wates and Kier have been invited to bid for a £35m batch of schools in North-west. The batch, which is the fourth in the region to come to market, comprises six schools.

Meanwhile, Galliford Try and Bowmer & Kirkland have been shortlisted for £27m batch of schools in Derby. The batch comprises six schools.

The batches are latest capital-funded schools to come to market through the Priority School Building Programme.
