Architects Falconer Chester Hall and Hodder+Partners behind two high-rise schemes

Three towers Liverpool

Plans have been submitted for four residential towers in Liverpool.

Developer Elliot Group and architect Falconer Chester Hall have submitted plans for a £250m trio of towers on the northern edge of the city (pictured, top), set to provide 1,000 new homes.

Meanwhile, Hodder + Partners has submitted plans for a £35m 27-storey resdiential tower in central Liverpool, called Ovatus 1 (pictured, bottom).

The Elliot Group scheme - known as Infinity - comprises three towers of 27, 33 and 39 storeys tall on the corner of Pall Mall and Leeds Street.

It also includes a spa, swimming pool, gym and over 10,000 sq ft of commercial space.

A decision is expected in spring next year and if approved construction will begin in the autumn.

Ovatus 1 is the first phase of a two-tower development earmarked for the site. An application for an adjacent taller tower, Ovatus 2, will be submitted for consideration in 2017.

The scheme will deliver 168 homes.

The clients are investors Prospect Capital and Wilcocks & Wilcocks, advised by consultant Indigo Planning. WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff is engineer.

If the scheme is approved early next year, construction work could start as early as April.
