Galliford Try’s affordable housing division has won its largest ever contract, to deliver an £81m, 350-home scheme in east London for Notting Hill Housing.

The Great Eastern Quays scheme will incorporate other business, retail and leisure uses and the regeneration of public spaces.

Galliford Try Partnerships has also won a £25m contract to build six extra care developments in Redcar in North-east England for Coast and County Housing.

The division will build 225 units in total and ancillary facilities over the course of three years.

Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “Affordable housing has become a real success story for our company across the country.

“The selection of Partnerships for its biggest ever single contract by Notting Hill Housing is testament to the strength of the brand and the hard work of the team.

“Likewise, our track record in extra care continues to resonate with clients and we look forward to working with our partners to produce high quality housing for their customers.”
