Stairs

The Stairs, an installation designed by Dutch architect MVRDV, was opened by the mayor of Rotterdam on Monday. The structure consists of 180 steps leading to the rooftop of the Groothandelsgebouw, an iconic building in the history of the post-war reconstruction of the city. The temporary landmark is part of a month of activities celebrating 75 years of post-war rebuilding. The Stairs will remain open until 12 June.
