Contractor gains accolade as firms push to meet government’s BIM targets
Interserve has become the first main contractor to be certified BIM level two compliant under the BRE’s certification scheme.
Alex Jones, Interserve’s national BIM manager, said: “This is another milestone for Interserve as we transition from analogue to digital in preparation for the 2025 construction strategy target.”
Ben Curtis, BRE global BIM scheme manager, said: “We hope they inspire other contractors to take their lead and get their businesses ready for BIM, as the government compliance target is now less than a year away.”
