Contractors to deliver infrastructure projects for 18 public bodies

Contractors Kier and Galliford Try have won a £500m public sector infrastructure hub in South West of Scotland.

The firms, working in consortium with investor Equitix Holdings and contractor John Graham Holdings, will deliver a variety of infrastructure projects for 18 public sector bodies.

Paul Sheffield, chief executive of Kier, said:  “Kier has an excellent track record in project delivery within the public sector and brings a wealth of experience to the consortium.”

The programme forms part of a wider £1.4bn investment programme for the area.
