University of Cambridge win follows roles on major P22 and Gatwick frameworks

Kier has won spots on a trio of frameworks worth more than £5bn.

The construction group announced to investors today it had won a place on a two-year University of Cambridge framework worth £500m, and also confirmed it had won places on hotly-contested £4bn health sector framework P22 and a £750m framework for Gatwick airport.

Kier said it would deliver a range of facilities for the University of Cambridge via its framework, including laboratories, teaching and lecture spaces and sport facilities.

Haydn Mursell (pictured), Kier Group chief executive, said: “These awards demonstrate the breadth of our offering and the strength of our relationships with clients across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, aviation and education.

“Such awards, which account for approximately half of our UK regional building revenues, enable us to work closely with our clients to deliver on their long-term requirements and they further bolster our strong Construction order book.”
