Wates, Dunelm, Capita Symonds and Humberts Leisure have all made appointments this week

Engineers

Qatar-based civil engineer, Hisanao Kajiura, has been awarded the prestigious Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) James Rennie Medal for his chartered professional review project.

Contractors

Wates has recruited Miles Hearn as energy director for its affordable housing division. Hearn joins the company from Ocean Power Technologies where he was responsible for delivering strategic projects in the UK and Europe.

Consultants

Dunelm Property Services has recruited two new senior staff from Thomas Armstrong for its North-west division. John Coyne will be project manager on a social housing project near Carlisle, while Craig Hunter will be site manager.  

Capita Symonds has appointed William Foord director of nuclear. Foord joins the company from Babcock International where he was responsible for developing its business across the new nuclear build arena.

Property consultant, Humberts Leisure, has appointed John Anderson executive chairman. Anderson is currently director for the company and will replace Nigel Talbot-Ponsonby.
