Ceremony takes place on the Carey Jones-designed Candle House, the tallest tower on the £40m scheme

Granary Wharf, a tower-led development in Leeds City Centre, had its topping out ceremony last week.

Candle House, the 23-storey residential tower designed by architects Carey Jones is the highest point on the £40m development. Members of the project team joined local councillor Andrew Carter and the chairman of regeneration body ISIS on the top floor for the topping-out ceremony on 23 April.

The Granary Wharf development also features a smaller, 14-storey tower designed by CZWG. Laing O’Rourke and Ardmore are the main contractors.

Construction is due to complete in September this year.
