Consultant secures extension to its contract after being acquired by WSP PB

Mouchel Consulting has secured an extension to its highways and transportation professional services contract with Leeds city council.

Mouchel, recently acquired by WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff, has worked with the council since 2003. The new extension takes its contract to August 2018, its maximum length.

The firm will continue to provide the council with services across highways, structures, transport planning, urban design and environmental factors through from inception to feasibility and design and construction.

After being acquired by WSP PB, the two firms combined now employ over 400 people in Leeds.
