The PGE Arena in Gdañsk in Poland plays host to the second quarter final in Euro 2012 tonight between Germany and Greece.

Built for the championships the stadium was designed to resemble amber, which has long been extracted on the Baltic coast.

The 44,000 capacity all-seater stadium includes 2000 VIP seats and 48 hospitality boxes.

UK contractor Mott MacDonald was the technical advisor for the foundations and ground conditions as well as superstructure and utilities.
