Firm feeling benefit of high demand for space in North-west

Styles & Wood has secured half a dozen new contracts in Manchester and London worth a combined £23m across the commercial office, healthcare and hospitality sectors.

The projects include a £6.2m 56,000 sq ft Grade A commercial fit out at developer Argent’s One St Peter’s Square in Manchester, a £3m 45,000 sq ft fit out at a three-storey office building, Dakota House, in Wythenshawe’s Concord Business Park.

The firm is also to delivering the £3m fit-out and refurbishment of a treatment clinic in Manchester for CARE Fertility and has been appointed to fit out two new easyHotels in Manchester and Liverpool. It is also working on a scheme called Irongate House in the City of London.

Tony Lenehan, chief executive of Styles & Wood, said: “The Manchester market in particular has witnessed a surge in activity in recent months, and as demand for premium space remains high, particularly across the North-west, we are expecting this is trend to continue.”
