Nominations are now being accepted for the fifth annual sustainability Rising Star award.

The award is run by UK Green Building Council and PRP Architects in memory of Mel Starrs, a prominent built environment practitioner and associate director at PRP, who passed away in July 2012.

It is an opportunity to nominate a colleague or peer who has made a real difference to the sustainability agenda.

Previous winners include last year’s winner Lisa Pasquale (pictured, right) from Six Cylinder, with Christina Houlgrave from Skanska as the runner up. Olivia Preston from the BBC won in 2015 with Ed Dixon from Mace as the runner up.
