Sweett Group has been appointed by Amec Foster Wheeler and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff to provide services for three projects worth a combined £100m for Westminster City Council.

Sweet was appointed via a Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) framework to provide services to a mixed-use development which includes Marylebone Boys’ School and a private rented sector residential tower in the borough.

In addition, Sweett will provide quantity surveying services on two further projects. Marylebone library development is the creation of a new custom-built, state-of-the-art library. Owing to its prime location, the development will also look to include nine luxury residential apartments. Lisson Arches is a residential scheme comprising 59 one-bedroom self-contained sheltered housing apartments and one two-bedroom manager’s apartment with communal facilities.

The combined value of the three developments exceeds £100m.

Sweett Group director of housing and care, Stephen Oxley, said: “We are delighted to be appointed on these three high-profile projects for Westminster City Council. We have an excellent reputation in the local authority sector and we have provided the Council with a professional team who have extensive experience of delivering projects of a similar nature.”
