Exclusive: Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Carillion in race for Sheppard Robson-designed One Mitre Square

Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Carillion are battling it out for a Sheppard Robson-designed £110m office building in the City of London.

The firms are in the race for developer Helical Bar’s One Mitre Square development – an 18-storey 25,000sq m office building with retail units on the ground floor.

The building will replace a disused 1960s office building on the site.

Construction on the scheme is expected to start in Spring 2013.
