Consultant to project manage £72m Massey Hall restoration in Toronto, Canada

Consultant Turner and Townsend has won a contract to project manage the £72m restoration of the iconic Massey Hall concert venue in Toronto, Canada.

The consultant will manage the planning, design, construction and occupancy phases of the project.

The restoration of the 120-year old building is expected to be completed by 2021, and will include enhanced patron and artist amenities as well as space dedicated to education, performance and artist development.

Massey Hall was originally built in 1894 and was designated by the Canadian government as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1981.
