Willmott Dixon has completed a deal to build 132 homes for private rent as part of the wider redevelopment of the Old Vinyl Factory site in Hayes, west London.

The contractor agreed the deal with developers Development Securities and Cathedral Group for the Gatefold Building, which will see the Willmott Dixon’s private-rented sector business Be:Here build 132 homes for renters alongside office space, a new café and community amenities.

The homes will be specifically designed for professional sharers, couples and singles to rent.

The deal is the second private-rented sector deal in six months for Willmott Dixon after it sealed the development of 233 homes at East India as part of the Aberfeldy Village regeneration.
