Former Berkeley Group man Richard Stearn takes finance role

Developer Quintain has appointed Richard Stearn as finance director with immediate effect.

Stearn, 43, joined the developer from Berkeley Group in January as deputy finance director, andtakes over from Rebecca Worthington, who was promoted to deputy chief executive in May.

Quintain said his appointment followed a search process which considered both internal and external candidates for the role. Stearn said he was “delighted” to be appointed finance director. “The company has made significant progress over the last 12 months and I look forward to working as part of the new management team to build further momentum over the coming months and years.”
