Bill - I'm sorry for not responding to the treshold detail problem earlier. I thought that the manufacturer of the doors could come up with a insulated treshold. Many of the manufacturers are German speaking and communication can be difficult. However they are always keen to solve customer's challenges - particularly as I'm sure it will generate repeat business. Mark Siddall's suggestion is good and your idea of a GRP box section is a step further - but a manufacturers' addition would cause less problems on site. Sorry I have no suggestion as a solution.
