Andorra bridge collapse kills five workers

Five workers were killed when a bridge under construction collapsed in Andorra on Saturday morning.

Six more people were injured after a 20m section of the concrete structure near the north-western town of Massana buckled, trapping workers under the debris.

Most of the victims were Portuguese nationals who had come to work in the tiny Pyrenean country, according to local reports.

A police investigation has been launched to try to establish the cause of the accident.
