The terminal will open in 2013 and have the capacity to disembark 8,400 passengers

 

A foundation stone laying ceremony has been held to mark the start of construction on Foster + Partners’ Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Hong Kong.

Located on the site of the former Hong Kong airport, the 143,600m2 terminal will have the capacity to disembark 8,400 passengers and 1,200 crew on a 675m-long concourse.

The terminal is due to open in 2013.
