I was interested to read in your above article (22 October, page 10) that the TUC is stepping up pressure on the government to press ahead with its manifesto commitment to introduce corporate manslaughter legislation.

I am also assuming that the TUC will ensure in the event that such legislation is enacted, that the legislation will allow individual unions and individual union representatives to be similarly prosecuted should an event or an occurrence giving rise to a fatality be directly traced to an action or inaction by the said union or its representative. I very much doubt it.
