Images of little old ladies controlling their central heating by getting to grips with chapter 11 of the CIBSE Energy Efficiency Guide have faded away.

They have been replaced by brave new 21st-century supergrans with a PhD in thermal modelling and advanced heating calculations and life membership of the Energy Efficient Light Bulb Police knocking five kinds of brickdust out of cowboy services engineers.

Isn’t it a glorious time to be part of the construction industry!
