Email – it’s much more spontaneous and you can engage in a dialogue. And more reliable!

Yes, it really amuses me what people put up on them.

What was the last thing you bought online?

A new garden bench because I am naive enough to believe the news that we are going to have a hot summer and so expect to be spending more time in the garden!

What is your favourite website?

Manchester United’s official site – manutd.com gives me my daily fix of football news – especially good when things are going well as they are at the moment!

What gadget could you live without?

iPods – they have destroyed conversation.
