My digital life: Richard Vining

A programme called American Hotrod about a garage that builds these iconic cars. It combines an interest in the cars with a fascination of how they can possibly build these machines with their apparent lack of organisation.

Are you into social networking?

Not really, but my sons are constantly using the websites. Looking at some of the photos I’m worried that I won’t live up to expectations (one has a signature page with a photo of himself in a mankini – scary!).

What is your favourite website?

I sail a lot so the Met Office site is top of the list to plan those hot lazy days afloat (I am dreaming, this is England after all!).

What are you listening to right now?

The machine is loaded with some eighties and nineties compilations, U2, Lynryd Skynryd and Slade. I’m not quite sure what that says about me but it certainly makes the journeys home pleasurable.
