A useful online encyclopaedia for checking out facts. I use it regularly for references for timelines and speeches.
I was initially told about this site by my daughters, but came across it again recently when I was told about an inspirational video posted by a man whose son was born with brain damage. Together they have achieved the unachievable and compete in marathons and “ironman” competitions around the world to raise funds.
I was given a year’s subscription to Private Eye last year. Great for a light-hearted read!

I have been using this site for about a year, but I’m still at the easy/medium level. I like it though – it keeps my mind active!
