For the record, your description of the CABE campaign due to launch next month was pretty wide of the mark (Hansom, 12 August, page 25 - see related articles). People who work in parks are often park rangers or wardens already. So it would be odd to hit the streets with a campaign calling for maintenance of the status quo. In reality, the problem is that there aren’t enough of them.

And they’re not collaborating much with the teams doing a very similar job in other parts of the neighbourhood. Hence the need for a “Park Force”.
