Your description of Dalston City Partnership as successful is not entirely accurate.

Successful for whom? Twenty-six million pounds of public money (out of £37m) went to the new community college in Shoreditch, thus not even in Dalston, which left very little for Dalston proper, which mainly received a lick of paint for the street furniture.

Local branches of the community college closed, which meant Hackney residents had to travel for miles to classes that were previously nearby. My housing estate received £22,000 for a poorly executed external play area and minor refurb of the community flat.
