Bournemouth and Glasgow projects take value of firm’s work in higher education sector to more than £250m

Atkins has recently landed a brace of deals at Bournemouth and Glasgow universities, taking the value of schemes it is working on in the higher education sector to more than £250m.

Its £22m contract at Bournemouth involves providing new facilities for its media and communication faculty (pictured) as well as the university’s science and technology department.

It is already working on a £40m deal at the same university for a new academic building for the health and social sciences faculty.

The scheme at Glasgow involves work on a new health and social sciences building.
