Two-storey building designed by Chris Dyson Architects
New images of a two-storey café completed by Chris Dyson Architects in grade I-listed south London park have been released.
The café was formally opened by deputy mayor Jules Pipe and is clad in half-round cedar shingles, a reference to the scaled skin of the grade I-listed dinosaur sculptures at the opposite end of the lake in Crystal Palace Park.
The £2.4m scheme, bankrolled by the London mayor and Bromley council, includes community space on the first floor.
Built by Essex-based heritage specialist Lengard, others to work on the scheme included Kinnear Landscape Architects, London Building Control and structural engineer Morton Partnership.
