Mace project manager on scheme
Turner & Townsend has been appointed to provide cost management services on a hospital in Jersey.
The Our Hospital project will replace the existing Jersey General Hospital (pictured), which dates back to 1793, with a new one in the capital St Helier.
Local firm ROK, based in the town, is teaming up with Spanish firm FCC to build the scheme, while Mace is project manager.
The new facility will be built on the site of Overdale hospital in St Helier and is due to finish in December 2025.
The job is the latest a string of healthcare appointments for T&T, which was also recently chosen to develop a new estate strategy for St George’s University Hospitals NHS foundation trust in south London.
