Turner & Townsend (T&T) is expanding its presence in Latin America by opening two new offices in the region in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Bogota, Colombia.

The openings take the total number of T&T offices in Latin America to five, adding to offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru.

The firm also announced two senior appointments in the region, with Jacquelina Dankfort appointed project management director for Brazil and Jonas Nitschack appointed natural resources director for Latin America.

T&T said it also made 11 promotions in the region.

Robert Edwards, T&T’s managing director for Latin America, said: “We have grown our presence in Latin America since the millennium and continue to respond to shifting client needs and market conditions across the region.

“This is reflected in the structure of our team, which continues to evolve and grow. Our increased presence will reinforce our capability to service Turner & Townsend global clients in the region, while ensuring that local clients gain access to a global network of experts.

“Jacquelina is a valuable new asset to the team. She joins us with exceptional project management experience and will be vital in strengthening our service to an expanding client base across the property sector in Brazil.

“Jonas has been working with us since 2002 and this internal promotion is a deserved reward for his depth of knowledge of his sector and loyalty to the consultancy, consistently delivering impeccable results.”
