Inside the magazine the introduction to the feature about One Drummond Gate design by Chapman Taylor Partners and built by main contractor Taylor Woodrow Construction, reads: “One Drummond Gate and the adjoining office buildings provide a sharp contrast, reflecting today’s architectural freedom of expression.
“Unlike most curtain walling jobs, where the emphasis has been on the glass, here the emphasis is on solid panelling with only small areas of glass. An unusual feature of the curtain wall is the incorporation of a rain screen.”
