Bailey has just completed a £5 million m&e contract, bringing the new Milton Keynes football stadium to life.

The firm, a division of building services organisation NG Bailey, was involved in the initial concept and design stage of the project, prior to work starting on phase one of the 30 000-seat stadium in January this year.

Since then, work has included a fit-out of the internal and external m&e services, which included the UPS and CBS installations, the standby generator, floodlighting, PA/VA and security systems.

The stewards’ telephone, referees’ call and high-specification public address system were all fitted by Bailey.

Specially designed speakers for both match-day use and high-quality music reproduction at special events were also installed.

The whole system employs innovative Internet Protocol infrastructure technology.

As the new home to the current Football League Two team MK Dons, the new stadium began use at the start of the new season in August.

Bailey is also on board for phase two, which will include an integrated hotel, a multi-use sports arena for sport events, live music and exhibitions, office space and further seating.
