Contactum has acquired weatherproof accessory manufacturer Loblite. The move sees Contactum extend its range of electrical accessories
Contactum managing director Roger Piepenstock explains the company's decision: “Loblite has an excellent reputation in the industry for its durable weatherproof range of accessories for electrical equipment. It fits extremely well into our product portfolio, allowing us to offer an even wider range of quality product than before. We will stock the full Loblite range and will also continue to develop it to provide our customers with good quality, affordable product.”
The 800 Series and 5 Series are the most popular Loblite lines that will be available from Contactum immediately. The 800 Series features single and twin socket outlets protected to IP65 when in use.
The 5 Series features switched and unswitched double socket outlets and latching and no latching double RCD socket outlets, all rated to IP55 when in use. All products in these ranges are fully interconnected and accept most moulded plugs in use today.
