Contactum has developed a new piezo electrically operated wire-free light switch

Pressing the switch on and off generates the power to operate it, meaning no batteries are required.

The switch uses robust radio-frequency technology to communicate from the switch to the relay within the ceiling rose. No hard wiring is required.

The relay requires a 40 mm hole in the ceiling rose or it can be installed above the light fitting. The switch is screwed or stuck to the wall and can be moved to any location up to 30 m from the light fitting.
