Windowlink has developed a pricing program for PVC-U products sold through trade counters supplied by leading trade manufacturer Advantage Windows and Conservatories.

The tailored software enables branches, including Advantage’s Window Installers Warehouses, to provide instant quotations for a wide range of Advantage products, from windows and conservatories to plastic building ancillaries and door products. Once confirmed as official orders, quotes are accepted by Advantage for manufacturing online.

Cheshire-based Advantage already offers a bespoke version of Windowlink’s Focus Plus presentation and pricing software to allow its customers to price orders for doors and windows alongside the homeowner. Following the success of this initiative the company recognised the potential of offering a similar support solution as part of its Window Installers Warehouse (WIW) concept.

WIW has been set up by Advantage to help trade counters maximise their business potential with a reliable source of top quality products at competitive prices.

Danny Hague, Advantage’s Group Commercial Director explains: ‘In the fast moving trade counter environment customers want accurate prices on the spot. With Windowlink’s software WIW staff can produce a quote at the click of a mouse – it’s a great sales tool.’

In addition to immediate pricing the software provides an ancillary checklist to ensure all the necessary components are included in the quotation.
